Listed Farmhouse, Hampshire
Under Consultation
Practice Roles: Architect
The remodeling of this 400 year-old grade II* listed farmhouse is rooted in the understanding of its history and morphology. The proposed interventions include restoring the circulation within the original building, reinstating fireplaces, and Georgian sash windows. A cumbersome annex and infill conservatory to the rear of the property are to be replaced with a masonry orangery, reflecting the symmetry and rhythm of the original fenestration whilst providing a more transparent living space with panoramic views across the rolling Hampshire fields to the north and west.
