Planning permission was secured for this new build house in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the north coast of Cornwall. The site is in a conservation area and has a panoramic view of the coastline from the headland between Port Isaac and Port Gaverne. The design takes inspiration form the local building materials, using slate and painted render in a contemporary interpretation of the surrounding vernacular cottages.
